What is the Reimagine Ranch?
The Reimagine Ranch is a special and unique vacation rental destination that features some of the most spectacular mountain and lake views you will find anywhere, along with more amenities than you and your family will be able to enjoy in a single stay.

The property is 10 acres, with 4700sf of finished interior space, 5 bedrooms (9 total beds – 1 king, 5 queens, double, 2 singles), 5 full bathrooms and is located just minutes outside of Invermere off the road to Panorama and is suitable for up to 16 guests.

How it came to be

We purchased the property after staying there on vacation two consecutive summers with our extended family of 15. We loved staying there but couldn’t stop thinking about the ways the property could be improved….. So when the chance came up to buy it, we jumped at the opportunity, and have been working hard to make our vision for the property a reality ever since.


The property is just under 10 acres overlooking Lake Windermere, the town of Invermere, and the Columbia Basin Wetlands. It is surrounded by both the Rocky and Purcell mountain ranges. Directly across the street you will find many hundreds more acres of Crown Land that is virtually private and features walking paths, off-road/ biking trails, hiking paths and more adventures. 

It is located 7 minutes from downtown Invermere and is 15 minutes from Panorama Mountain Resort. The less-known, but beautiful and tranquil Lake Lillian is only 3.3km away. 

World-class golf courses such as Eagle Ranch, Copperpoint, and Greywolf are all within a short drive. Just down the 93 you will find the hot springs of Radium (13KM) and Fairmont (25Km). The Klooisfer Trail network of mountain bike and off-road trails can be entered directly across the street from the entrance to the property.


The amenities on the Reimagine Ranch really separate it from any other vacation rental that you have stayed at. There is probably more than you can get to in a single stay, and even too many to list. Main House

The main house features a newly renovated kitchen with high-end Samsung appliances.  The dining room table fits 10 and there are 5 additional stools at a sit-up peninsula between the kitchen and the dining table, and another 4 seats at the massive kitchen island. 15’ of south facing windows provide tons of natural light and dramatic views of the Purcell mountains. The living room also features a huge u-shaped couch, plus another sofa and several comfy chairs so your entire group can spread out in one room. There is an 85” tv with cable for your viewing pleasure, the cabinets are stocked with board games and there is even a coffee table with LCD top where you can play yet more games. During the day you get sweeping views of the mountains and lake, and at night you can see all the lights of the town out over the pool. 


The main house also offers four bedrooms and four newly renovated bathrooms. The upper master has the best view on the property and features a king-size bed and a 4-piece ensuite. The main-floor features another bedroom with ensuite, second bedroom, and finally the back bedroom is perfect for a full family with a queen, then two singles for the kids as well as a large ensuite with tub and shower. 

It is located 7 minutes from downtown Invermere and is 15 minutes from Panorama Mountain Resort. The less-known, but beautiful and tranquil Lake Lillian is only 3.3km away. 

Pool House

The pool house is only steps away from the main house and is a large open space with two queen beds and a charming loft bed that your kids will love. It also features a 3 piece bathroom and a 6-person wet-sauna that is a must-try during your stay. 

Pool, Patio & Land

The real magic of this property comes with the vast land and outdoor space for you to enjoy. The home features multiple outdoor patios including the main pool deck which includes a 40’ pool, 8-person hot-tub, day-bed and sun-chairs. There’s even a 20’ outdoor home theater screen that can be set up for you to enjoy an outdoor movie or the big game once the sun goes down. 

Moving out from there, you will find 10 acres of our private land to explore. From our 9-hole mini-golf, to the bocce/horseshoe pits, to the trampoline and playground, to the par-3 golf hole/putting green and abundant walking paths, there is just so much to see and enjoy. 

And if you want to go further, there are another 30 acres of crown land right out the front door that is virtually private and then hundreds of acres more across the street at the entrance to the property that include some of the area’s best hiking, mountain-biking and off-roading trails.  


The arcade is located in the heated garage approximately 60ft from the front door. It’s a truly unique space that provides fun for the whole family. The highlight is a full golf-simulator where you can play your favorite courses such as Banff Springs, Greywolf, and Pebble Beach. The projector can also be used as a home theater and is connected to an Amazon Firestick so you can watch all your favorite streaming systems on a 170” screen. There is also a 2021 Golden Tee on a 55” screen with a cable box so you can watch live sports or anything else you want. LED lights galore support the fun atmosphere. There are 5 more arcade cabinets including one MAME Retro arcade machine that has over 5000 classic games. You will also find a ping-pong table, shuffleboard, air-hockey table, karaoke machine and more. It’s truly an unforgettable space. 


The 250sf garage gym is well-appointed and offers everything you need to get your fitness in. It has a treadmill, elliptical, bench, and free weights all in a comfortable, heated space. 



We are very lucky to have our on-site caretaker Blake Andersen. Blake has lived on the property since 2015. He has his own private quarters in the basement with a separate entrance so you will hardly notice him. He is available with a little lead-time to help with many of the amenities and general questions about the property. Blake is an avid snowboarder, hiker and mountain-biker and has a tremendous amount of knowledge about the area. He is a great resource if you are looking for trails or cool places to visit during your stay. He is essential to the on-going maintenance at the ranch as it requires a great deal more upkeep than a standard residential property would. 

What You Won't Love

The Ranch is a special place and we really know you and your family will love. The property does have its warts and while we have been working through as many as possible since purchasing it, we won’t be able to get to them all before the rental season unfortunately. A few things you won’t love:

Crooked Pool

The pool has settled which leads to an uneven water line where it’s closer to the lip on one side than the other. We are aiming to get this fixed next Fall after the Summer rental months. It’s purely cosmetic and the pool works fine, but something to note. 

Bright and Hot Pool House

There is no air-conditioning in the pool house so it can get a little hot in the Summer months (main-house has full AC). It’s also quite bright so best to bring some eye-cover if you are staying in those beds. 

Complicated Toys

The property has a ton of amenities, which is awesome, but also means that sometimes there will be frustration and bugs getting things working the way you want them to. We are working really hard to make the user experience as easy and intuitive as possible, and Blake will always try his best to help you with anything you need with a little notice. 

Insufficient Water & Septic

Being an acreage in the mountains, the property is run on well-water and a septic field rather than traditional city utilities. It generally works really well and we find that at around 14 guests it starts to get bogged down and any more than 16 and you will likely find yourselves running out of water which means no running water or working toilets. So it’s really important not to push the guest limits. 

Unfinished Landscaping

Some of our land is a bit dirty/muddy as we have made a lot of changes this year and need a few seasons for the new grass to grow in. It’s just going to get more and more beautiful over time.
